While working for Intermarketing Agency, we paid special attention to their specific workplace and space requirements.
Intermarketing Agency is a leading Leeds-based creative agency that has been providing all-inclusive marketing and promotional services for over 25 years. It is a thoroughly professional organisation having a distinct and reputable position in the industry. Continually expanding and growing, the company needed our assistance to refurbish their existing kitchen and washrooms so that the space is optimally used. Additionally, we were required to implement changes so as to meet all aesthetic and design principles.
As a marketing and creative agency it is really crucial for Intermarketing Agency to present an image of itself that conforms to its professional expertise. Office edifice and interiors play an important role in this respect.
On the basis of our experience and impressive portfolio, the company chose us to refurbish their washrooms and kitchens. Working on this project, our main objective was to revamp kitchen and washrooms at Intermarketing Agency office to create more space. This required precise planning, thorough strategizing and accurate execution. The project was divided into two parts, one pertaining to the refurbishment of washrooms and the other involving the reconfiguration of the kitchen.
Some of the washroom walls, as well as floor coverings and all toilet cubicles had to be stripped off to create more space for the installation of new fittings, in a manner so that the space is utilised optimally. A new layout was devised that signified the changed placement of washroom fittings, which was to lead to the creation of more space in the office. Old bathroom fittings were replaced by new ceramic floors, toilet cubicles, vanity units that were designed by Phillip Watts and toilets and urinals distinctly designed for ladies, gents and disabled.
The later part of the project involved kitchen reconfiguration and overhaul. This too was to contribute towards the creation of extra space in the office.
One of the major changes included the replacement of stationery and cleaning cupboards and kitchen walls with a still beam. The still beam was boarded over and painted to give it a more presentable appearance. Much work was done with respect to defining the periphery and entrance of the kitchen. New plasterboard walls were erected to enclose and define the kitchen space, in addition to the creation of a new door opening to be used as kitchen entrance. The kitchen floor was also stripped off and replaced with a new noppe stud rubber floor.
